What does the First rule in the Time Monitor Indicate?

The Rule 1 of the Time Monitor feature states: Highlight with selected Row color and Font Color when the Timer Starts.

This is a Mandatory rule and is applied as soon as a student checks-in either manually or scanning their QR code. The new student row will be highlighed with the Row and Font color you have selected in Time Monitor settings.

For eg; if your Row Color is Green and Font Color is Black, when you check-in John Doe, his particular name will be highlighted with Green color with Black Fonts. This color setting will persist until Rule 2 is applied (if it is enabled). If Rule 2 is disabled, the settings will change when Rule 3 applies. If both Rule 2 and Rule 3 are disabled, the colors will change when Rule 4 applies.
