How can I create a Timeslot?

Timeslots in GeniusOne can be found under the Lesson Scheduling menu. To create Timeslots, click on the Timeslots sub-menu under Lesson Scheduling. Once the page opens up click on +New Slots to create Timeslots.

Once you click in the +New Slots tab, Enter the Start and End time. Remember that the Start and End Times are not for each slot, rather they are for the entire day. GeniusOne's Timeslot system will intelligently create slots based on just the Start and End times for the day. 

For e.g; if your centre starts at 3:00 pm in the afternoon and closes at 6:00 pm on Monday, and you have 30 mins slots with '0' mins of buffer time, then the Start Time will be 3:00 pm and End Time will be 6:00 pm. Duration will be 30 mins and Buffer will be '0'. Day of the week will be Monday. You can then specify Timeslot Identifiers to identify slots for Monday. You will get a chance to review and assign specific identifiers to each slot if needed

Once you enter these details and Click on Create Slots, all slots that fit into the start and end time you have specified along with the duration will be created and listed for your review. You can then add Capacity to each slot. Capacity helps you plan your centre's Capacity so you only have the ideal number of students your centre can manage per slot. 

Enter the Student Capacity in each slot and then hit Save. This will save the Timeslots with all your specific configurations. You are now ready to assign these slots to students.

Remember: You cannot create a Timeslot until you create a TImeslot Identifier.
