GeniusOne® now sends Login OTP and a Welcome message to Parents' WhatsApp. To make sure these messages are delivered correctly it is necessary to keep the Parent/Guardian's contact number up to date. It is preferred that the contact number be a WhatsApp number so OTP and Welcome messages are delivered.
The parent's contact number can be updated in two ways:
- Parents themselves can update this information through the Parent Mobile App
- You can update their contact number from the Parent page. To update Parents' contact number go to People >> Parents. Click on the menu under the Action column and select Edit Details. You need to then select the appropriate country code and then their phone number without the leading '0'. For eg, if it is a UK Mobile number select 'United Kingdom' in the Country Code column and then type their number which should be a 10 digit number '7XXXXXXXXX'
