Is the Data for Inactive family still maintained in GeniusOne?

Data for Inactive families and students are maintained indefinitely in GeniusOne or until the parent or the student is deleted from the system.


  • Attendance, chat and Broadcast history are maintained and can be viewed in read-only mode
  • No operations like adding a new parent or student, assigning timeslots or chatting with the parent are possible
  • It will not be possible to send any Broadcasts to Inactive Parents
  • Inactive Parents will also not get any notifications from GeniusOne. They will also not be able to log in to the Parent App 
  • Inactive Students will have all Timeslots unassigned from them. The timeslots would need to be re-assigned if the student is re-activated
  • When the Parent has activated again all operations are reinstated as normal. 



Remember: You can import all data in GeniusOne while a student or a parent is deactivated before deleting them from the system. Deletion from GeniusOne is an irreversible operation which also deletes all chats and other history related to the parent or the student.
