How do I add a Family in GeniusOne?

To add a family click on the Add New Family to add a new Family to GeniusOne®. You will be presented with a form where you will need to enter the Family Name and details of the Primary Parent. Once created, you will be able to add Students and Additional Parents/Guardians using the respective buttons on the Family card.




You can also add multiple Families in GeniusOne® using the Bulk Upload Families tool. This will allow you to create multiple families easily. 


After you have added the Families through the Bulk Upload, you can add students through the Bulk Upload Students tool and they will be linked to the Family if the Primary Parent Email ID matches the one you have provided while adding the Families. 


Remember: You can add up to three (3) parents/guardians under a Family. Each Parent/Guardian then have their own login to the GeniusOne® Parent App. A Family needs to have one mandatory Parent who is treated as a Primary Parent. A Primary Parent cannot be deleted from GeniusOne® unless another Parent is first made a Primary Parent. To do this, use the Swap icon (green color icon) next to the Parent you want to make Primary.
