All inactive Students are counted against the overall student numbers for your plan.
For example - if you have 190 active students and 10 inactive students, then your overall student numbers would be counted as 200. If you have subscribed to a Diamond Plan for 200 students, then you would need to upgrade to a higher plan if you intend to add any more students to your centre.
GeniusOne retains data for inactive students indefinitely. The data is only removed when the student is deleted from GeniusOne.
